Biography
Biography Sukhbinder Barn is
currently Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Senior Teaching Fellow (HE). Currently he is Programme leader for MSc Branding and Marketing Communication and MSc Global Marketing Management. He has
spent a number of years in industry where he worked for Coca-Cola &
Schweppes Beverages Limited as well as being involved in consulting activity
for a variety of government organisations and developing branding and
communication strategies for a number of sporting clubs in London. He has led practitioner
based workshops and seminars in India, Cairo, Malaysia as well as visiting
teaching roles at Cornell and New York University. Sukhbinder’s current
research focus is on experiential learning in the Marketing discipline and looks
at the development of radical assessment and the use of social media in
creating engagement with marketing communication in the informal learning
environment.
Sukhbinder has
published in academic journals, and has presented papers at national and
international marketing conferences.
